I have about 700 bucks to buy a mixer for my studio. I am using a digi 001 w/ pro tools LE. i want at lease 16 channels so i can record 16 tracks at once, but 24 would be nice so i can use my aux and extra fader's for out board fx's. Im not shure what I can get in this price range. IF you know of any half decent clean board for around 700 buck or a little more, let me know. If you know any place in MD, PA, WV or VA that has a good used store in which i can purchase a used mixer please pass it along to me. ( THis includes internet sites too!)... Thanks your help is appreciated.

You can get into a used Mackie 1604 VLZ on Ebay for $700 or less, plus shipping. This is probably your best bet. I saw a Allen & Heath there, older, but 25 ch.

Ends soon though. I also like studiomaster stuff, but it isn't usually as highly regarded as Mackie and A&H. ALso you could go with the dreaded Behringer. Might be a gem, might be a turd....
