So I am looking into getting a little one of these for right at my mixing desk. I have a nord lead 3, but that is to big so it is on a rack. I am looking into these microkontrol by korg and the novation remote 25 or extreme. I like the idea both have joysticks that I can use to program panning with. It has been a while since I have read any magazines so I don't know if a better product has been released recently.
I know I could just use the nord lead 3, but I also think it would be so much easier to interface one of these new ones into my Cubase Sx, but I know you can just program any midi controller to any parameter and save it. It would just be nice to have it done already.
