hey guys i'm looking for a new microphone. i have a folky voice, and alot of mics seem to be too harsh on my voice... i want a smooth and full sound. any suggestions? my price range is $400 max.

OK for most people who hear themselves for the first time or so have the same experience of "hey! that's not me I don't sound like that at all."
Try to audition an EV RE20 I m sure you'll be happy.
