This seem like a good deal for the homestudio and you can use it with protool mpowered. So for $1300 you have a control surface/interface and protool - not a bad deal

Yeah, it's pretty cool.

More functions than the 002, with greater control over other programs.
Cheaper too.

I don't know what the quality of the signal path is like though.
