just wanted opinions on the AKG Perception 400 as a mic for vocals, i use a presonus eureka as my pre-amp and analog compressor b4 i get into all da digital goodies i uhhhh got in the Adobe Auditions 2 stashbox......
so yeah i know my set-up is on some Geico Caveman s**t (i'm broke) but i only record vocals from home, and if i feel like it, i'll mix it and if i'm feeling on some superhero sh*t i'll attempt my best to master it..
personally i was recommended the Presonus Eureka by an industry vet of 15+yrs as an engineer and that was probably the best mentoring/advice i got on a product since i been doin music.... but just wanted to know for a "vocal only" set-up was it a smart move....
