Hey guys,
Just built some sound panels. Using 4" fiberglass (well actually 2 - 2" boards sandwiched together). Then built a small "structure" to put them up near the ceiling. I'll be honest I kinda just built them not knowing what I was getting into. They sure do make things dead, and I hate the way my room sounds so I guess that's a good thing.
So my plan is to use them for drums, I took some pictures that should better explain the set-up. But what I'm wondering is, where should I be placing these babies? I have 10 2" X 4" panels to work with. I know I should be using my ears, but I'm just wondering what you guys think from general experience.
Check the pictures below... the placements are all just thrown there, but feel free to rip me a new ass either way! Oh yeah... the session begins tomorrow so I'd like to have this figured out by tonight.
