Some lady saw one of my classified ads for the stuff I have for sale and called me looking for some help. I guess her son is somewhat mentally ill and is obsessed with synths. He wants the get the sound from Atlantic Starr's song "circles" which came out in 1982. He already has a minimoog and a Prophet 5, but can't seem to get that sound he's looking for. Do any of you know what synth was used on that song? Any help would be appreciated, this lady seems like she's going crazy trying to find it.

I know that this post if of no help to your question.....but......when you indicated a person was mentally ill and obsessed with synths........it seems that could apply to many of us who frequent this thread.
