I have a Traynor mono block II head that i use for my bass. It isn't the best sounding amp, but it does the job for me. Lst night, i thought my cab was acting up because it sounded like a bad cord or wire somewhere. The sound got really distorted and cut in and out. I switched cabs and it kept going like that, so I switched guitars, still no luck.
So my amp finally just quit. I am wondering if this kind of failure is typical to a certain problem or certain problems. The amp is solid state, so no tube issues here.
I am asking because I am thinking of getting it repaired, but if it is something likea failed transformer, then i won't bother.
