i think this is a newbie question....oh well.......i'm still new.
i'm recording into acid pro (and editing in sound forge).
my voice is deep and tends to blend (really mash) with my bass drums....what am i doing wrong or what can i do to stop this?
any help please.....

It's simple, EQ your voice track either in Acid or Sound forge. Best to use the default Track EQ in Acid.

Turn down the bass frequencies and up the mids to make ur voice clearer. You can turn up the highs to make it crisp. Experiment around.

You could start with a good mic in the first place though, assuming you don't have one.

I agree with jacen and AlChuck.

You can EQ your VOX track, so that it won't compete with the same frequencies as your low end instruments.

Plus the slight compression will help to increase your vox's presence.
