I have recently purchased a Roland MC50 mkII and am starting to kind of get a feel for it.....
I have managed to format a Floppy Disk (haha,,,yeah, alright, you can stop laughing now) on this unit and that went OK......I have taken it over to an older laptop that has a Floppy Drive and managed to read the contents of this disk and that went OK....
The problem I am having is when I copy a MIDIFile to this Floppy Disk and then Take It Back to the MC50.....to LOAD it into it's memory......I keep getting messages that indicate that it doesn't see any MIDIFiles on this disk at all.......
What am I not doing right?
From what I read this machine should have no problems reading Standard MIDIFiles created from other sources as long as they are on a Floppy Disk that was Formatted on the MC50?
I really only want to use the MC50 as a Playback device of my MIDFiles ... as all my Sequences are created in Cubase on my PC....
