Can someone who has a working ultramix setup please tell me what hardware you are using to make it work?? I have one here and for my life cannot get it to work. First I had it hooked up to my PC in linux through my layla24. I actually had the faders controlling the on-screen faders, but it would not record anything. I then learned you need a whole 'nother MIDI interface to sync it to a tape machine, so I bought a MIDIsport 2x2. The Ultramix software never found the ultramix through the midisport, and there is no option in the ultramix software to select what port the MTC is coming from, so I was just unable to get it working.
I bought a Mac G5 and am trying to get it running in Classic Mode. I am able to see the ultramix's signals show up in reaper in OSX through the midisport...but I cannot get the ultramix software to locate the ultramix.
This is really frustrating because I have spent dozens of hours on this already and am at my wit's end.
