ok this is the deal

i have no way of recording drums right now but i need to have something done. i was thinking of recording the bass drum and snare using my keyboard (very old keyboard). being old, the sample is not very realistic. i was wondering if there is a program out there where i can do that record with the keyboard (no MIDI) then replace the recorded sound with the sound i like. In a way it is like using triggers except the source would be recorded already.

you can do that with drumagog. you can do it with reaper too. there's a freebie plugin that does it too but i don't remember the name of it.

i have no experience with midi at all and i dont have any midi equipment .....drumagog does a great job thanks
