Need help from any J Station or POD users on using PC editing software

I just got a J Station, i installed the J-edit software, i have a 15 pin JoyStick to Midi cable from my computer to my J Station.I cant get the J-edit Software to Recognize my J Stion, It keeps saying J Station not found on any Midi Ports. What am i doing wrong?
