I have a Yamaha emx68s powered mixer and want to record from it into a HP Pavillion laptop computer. Can I run a connection from the recording out jacks to a usb interface to get it in there ? I also have read alot of opinions about the different software types and it is getting pretty confusing. I was thinking of a cakewalk product ? I am looking to put guitar and vocals in and would also need to add lead tracks. Any advice or experience out there ?
