Since those in the know have likened these compressors to bicycles for fish as far as their usefulness in recording, I am interested in whether or not these discontinued items from the Alesis line might have other uses: ash trays? door stops? book ends?
[Disclaimer: I have not purchased either of these items, thereby earning the scorn and ridicule of those more knowledgeable than myself. I am simply looking for alternatives uses should I see one at a garage sale for one or two dollars and I take pity on the person who parted with his or her hard-earned cash and now must settle for recovering pennies on the dollar.]
