Name that tune

Popsicle Toes -

I always liked the Diana Krall version. She kinda make is sexy! 😜
Nice one, Rich  I have to say I've never heard of this song or artist before. That surprises me. But in 1976 I was not listening to much other than Pink Floyd, Wings, Aerosmith and the Eagles.

Thank you, Mark.

I had to pull it up in Youtube. Can't say I've ever heard the song or the group. Makes sense, since I'm over 40!
I worked out the pics but couldn't put it with a known song as I too had never heard of it or the group. Searching YouTube for the titles I came up with got me there.

Afterwards, I found the list of 97 songs that made Diamond in the US : https://www.insider.com/every-diamond-certified-song-ever-riaa

I have to say, though I've heard of many of the artists, I was only familiar with 7 of the 97 songs :

Listed in order of being awarded Diamond

It's interesting that, other than Elton's Candle In The Wind, the remaining 96 Diamonds were awarded between 2013 and 2022 - the age of streaming and social media. This would seem to make Elton's achievement quite impressive in itself, IMO.
