Hi,

I am new to this forum. Here is a new song I wrote and recorded. I would be interested in any comments about lyrics, music or recording. It's kind of a singer/songwriter style.....or can you tell me what genre it is?

The track starts with some great sounding guitar.

"Naked in the rain" is an awesome line and hook.

The harmonies work well.

I wasn't convinced by the tambourine in the background.

I wouldn't mind you having a trthink of your lyrics to see whether you can endow them with the same originality as 'naked in the rain'.

I would also like to hear you experiment with your vocal delivery, maybe you can introduce more drama into the vocal line by varying how you sig the track.

Thanks for the comments. Guitar bits are my strength - vocals the weakness!

Yes, I am on the fence about the tambourine vs no percussion.

I also agree that the lyrics could stand a bit of polishing. Stay tuned and thanks.
