Mystery whining/beeping noises?

Hi, recently I'm noticing that my recordings sound like this:

(I just cut together various pieces where I heard it, but I basically hear that whining/beeping intermittently throughout the recording from beginning to end now on every recording)

I am using a Shure SM7B (fairly new) through a FetHead into an Audient iD14.

Any ideas what the culprit might be? Please halp. Thanks.

You didn't hear the beeping sounds? Did you listen with headphones?

Computer is in a different room. So is phone. There is an iPad nearby though.

Oh, it's there...

My first guess would be a phone, pad or other low-power transmitter. If it's pretty consistent day to day, try turning them *off* and see if that takes care of it. Or bring them closer and see if it worsens. Then it's a matter of why it's leaking through...

It does sound like phone interference so it's probably the iPad but it's a lot softer than the cell phone interference that I'm usually dealing with when I tape meetings but I probably would just ignore something at that volume level :)

Also try without the FetHead
