My song "Impossible" recorded on freeware

Impossible (Original Song) TC Helicon VLT - YouTube

I recorded this song with freeware I found online. I used Audacity to record it (free) Hydrogen drum machine (free) and a lot of over dubbing. Plugged the guitar, vocals and bass directly into the computer. I thought the quality is really good for the cheap studio setup. Let me know what you think

It sounds like what it is - a recording using DI instruments, a USB microphone, freeware drums and Audacity. The drums sound very average, and most of the other tracking sounds a bit "woolly" for want of a better word.

Is your aim to produce good recordings considering you haven't spent a dime, or to produce good recordings?

What are you trying to achieve?

Well, I think it's pretty obvious? He doesn't have recording gear/SW/or experience? So he's putting this out there to say, "this is what I did without much, how did I do?" I think all things considered, he did pretty good.
