Well.....I'm not a rap lover but I am certainly no hater of rap either. I really like it conceptually. I don't know if this was deliberate but for the most part, the vocal lagged slightly behind the beat which gives it a kind of sloppy feel. I like the musical start but the music never changes once the song has begun and just gets more and more monotonous. I realize that the rap and lyric are the prime movers so maybe I'm not a good person to critique this because the music for me plays an equal role. But whatever piece of music I hear, I react firstly as a listening punter.
Can't say I like the lyrics, but that's neither here nor there and I never did notice the flanger.
Overall, maybe it needs a little work. It doesn't sound outstanding or different to loads of rap tracks.
