my mic cable is to big for my inputs....

well, it does fit, but it is a VERY tight squezz, I feel like im slowly chipping away at my input jacks with this,

is this normal, all my other plugs fit fine in my inputs.
 
Humm, no that doesn't seem normal... normally plugs should slide in easy and click when their locked in.

Yeah, the connectors in both my TLM103s are VERY tight. So are the connectors in my 797 Audio CR998 PSU. Cab be a real pain sometimes, but it hasn't caused any problems yet. And I've had my 103s since a couple months after their release.
 
You know what, I stand corrected... Recording Engineer is right, my TLM103 is pretty tight too and so are a few other mic's.. but, most are pretty easy.
 
The only time I've experienced this was when I was trying out some Octava 319's last autumn at GC... four out of ten would not accept an XLR cable because the XLR recepticle on th mic were undersized... needless to say, I was underwhelmed with their quality...
