My first records in new studio

Hi, these two are the first records I did in my studio. The band was a "test-band", so they had one day for free to let my try recording and see if the gear is good enough.

The record was done with noname ("Soundking") microphones, except the kick which is shure PG.
So what do you think?

I guess the song (I just listened to the first one) is kind of in that ilk.

You should check out Cansei...pretty good band...funny buggers too.

Well, I was asking for someone to come and take a bit more care about this forum and the adverts...

So what about the songs? I would like to hear more about the tracking and mix...

I listened to the first track. The overheads are really phasey. The vocals are too loud and uncontrolled. It's recorded cleanly though. It's sonically good; if you work on the mix, it'll come out great.

Need some compression on the vocals, they start out good but get way louder than the rest of the mix, and kind of overpower it....
