My first MP3 demo

I did this on an Alesis QS6.1
With a lot of hours in Sonar and Cubase
and finally converted on Soundforge with a Soundblaster Audigy

my initial impressions...

the sound stage hit me as narrow...

overall balance seems pretty good...maybe slightly too much on the bottom...

I agree with Sonixx, I had the same problem when starting out. I found that applying various reverbs (I use DSP-FX AcousticVerb) to the individual tracks really helps to open it up and makes those synths sound more realistic (especially on drum tracks.)

Two things that hit me.

The bass and kick are not matched up sonically to drive the music. The sound of the snare is just not authentic.

Musical ideas were good, things are just a little thin sounding.
