I recently uncovered my copy of music 2000, my first foray into computer music, and i tried to install it on my windows xp pro machine.

I have encountered a problem where it says it need an indego codec to run and i need to get it from a company clled Ligos.

I can't seem to find this online anywhere.

Can anyone help

Cheers
Dave

Indego or Indeo? I found this company called Ligos through google. They just happen to do codecs, but they only mention the Indeo codec.

http://www.ligos.com/indeo.htm

Looks like you might have to pay $15 for it though...

Indeo used to be a pretty popular video codec that came with windows. It used to be free. Then version 5 came and Ligos started asking money. So now all programs that use Indeo codecs in any way will be asking you to buy the new version. However, versions 4 and lower can be found for free on the internet, if you do a bit of googling. I have not ever seen a file encoded with the version 5 codec so I wouldn't worry about that.

Problem Solved

Cheers guys, I have now sorted it by reinstalling it a couple of times.

Thanks Again

Dave
