How do I use the usb on the mr 16? The pc screen said it successfully loaded but what do you do from there?

The USB link is for the transfer of files to and from the MR16. (obvious - I know) The USB treats the hard disk as another drive. You can transfer the .wav files from the 2Mix folder directly and use your PC software to burn CDs.
But (more useful) you can transfer tracks directly and edit them in a PC based editing program such as Audacity.
Go to www.fostexusa.com and then to "support" and to "software updates" and download the correct WavManager for your machine (i.e the WM for the MR8 downloads 8 tracks at once and the WM for the MR16 etc. etc.) PLUS the .pfd file of instructions!!
You will also see Users Forum on the same list. Look, under the heading for your machine, for threads covering PCs and MRs etc. Or join up and ask your questions there.
PS. Also check in the software updates for the latest update for the 16 and download if necessary.
