MP3 file uploads now enabled

It means that in advanced mode there is a little icon that let's your wrap mp3 tags around your tunes hosted elsewhere. The result is automatic embedding of your tune to play in the message- like soundcloud. I tend to think that this is much better anyway than uploading and downloading files.

The thing is...if you have your MP3 hosted somewhere already on the net, there's truly no point in using the silly little HR media-player. Just post the link and we'll listen on whichever player we personally use.

No kiddin, you still have to upload somewhere, then click on the player and it downloads.

The only advantage I see is, if the thing works, then it's a one click deal.

Hey! Don't be a spoiled sport. This is our little thang!

Right, and I don't know about you guys, but clicking isn't that strenuous an exercise. A "one-click deal" isn't a strong selling point to me.

I put an Mp3 here last night --> FileSwap.com : Upload Files, Free File Hosting, Cloud Storage

Maybe one of the following will work. Thanks

Direct URL FileSwap.com : Show Me.mp3 download free

HTML Embed <a href="http://www.fileswap.com/dl/rRKEp1iO/Show_Me.mp3.html">Show Me.mp3 - 4.77 MB</a>

Forum (BBCode) Show Me.mp3 - 4.77 MB

Direct link FileSwap.com : Upload Files, Free File Hosting, Cloud Storage

These links don't work. When I click on them, it says file not found....

Lol. I get it. It's just not that useful.

Fixing the buggy upload feature would be way more useful.

Have you seen the south park episode Mr. Hindsight?

Anyway, I am curious to why this crapola player is misbehaving as well. What would be most useful is to install the SC player plugin.

So our resident techie, Greg, checked it out and it turns out that your link is not really an mp3 link and this is why it doesn't work when we try to embed it in the player. For a link to be a real mp3 link it must end with .mp3 at the end of the url.

like here:
[MP3]http://fr.audiofanzine.com/outils/a.provider,u.16,m.10870,mod.tracks,down.true,s.tracks.mp3[/MP3]

That didn't work, but you have commas in the url. I don't think it works with commas, does it??

What do you mean it didn't work? You see the player and plays the tune... and you can see in the url it ends with .mp3
