MOTU 828 MKI vs. MK II

Can someone tell a newbie the difference between a MOTU 828 MKI and MKII?

The 828mkII has an additional firewire port for daisy-chaining 828's, a front panel LCD for programming (and use) without a computer, and offers 88.2 and 96khz sample rate recording, in addition to just the 44.1 and 48khz that the original 828 offers.
