im using a motu 828mkii in cubase sx and i get this digital noise type thing going on. it almost sounds like distortion, but i know it shouldnt be there. when i turn the motu on it goes to 44.1 for the clock setting. im thinking maybe this is the problem. so, i went to the device setup and changed the clock setting to 96, i saw the light on the motu jump up to 96, and then press ok-but when i press okay, it goes back down to 44.1 again. i unchecked and checked a variety of different boxes thinking maybe their connected somehow but nothing seemed to help.
so, long question short- how do i get my motu on 96hz and stay there so i can find out what the noise is?
