Monkey's Audio update

For those using Monkey's Audio, the 3.41 update is out.

Summary of the changes:

* big speedups to decompress and verify (up to 20%)
* can pause during processing
* 'apply' in options dialog
* some little bug fixes

For those of you who haven't heard of it, Monkey's Audio Compression (MAC for short) is a free Win32 lossless compression utility for .wav files. Don't confuse "free" with "crap"... it's about the best thing out there, and pretty much the fastest.

Thanks!

I don't know how many Monkey's Audio users hang around this forum, but if anybody has any suggestions on how to improve MAC, please let me know.

Wouldn't it be ironic if there'd be more more MAC users if I were charging for it ;)

Finally some respect... ZDNet gave it 5 stars. God knows, I love to trash the bad software... I might as well push the good stuff.

Another update

Latest Version:
3.50 beta

... added support for external coders (LAME, MP3Enc, WavPack, RKAU, Shorten), completely new and improved install/uninstall method, ability to rescale output to allow for dsp and equalization of all files, as well as several other various improvements

Support for LAME and MP3Enc from the Monkey's Audio front-end. All my compression needs from one program, I'm stoked.
