Monitors??

What do you guys think is the best monitors for hip hop? Also, I have Yamaha NS10's. And what I noticed in a lot of studio's I see NS10's and other monitors next to it. If these studio's have NS10's along with other monitors, what is the purpose of NS10's and whats the purpose for the other monitors?

NS10 is to check how your mix translates to the "outside world"

the other is for more bass response, and clarity
