Monitors for mobile studio?!?!

I'm working on getting some gear for a mobile recording set-up. I obviously do not want some big speakers (especially since I will be traveling via air-plane), nor heavy speakers.

What is moderately good, small, and roughed?
Price I was looking at $200 for the pair.

I was considering the DX4 or the StudioPro 4 (M-Audio), along with maybe some Yamahas or Roland.

Suggestions?

going mobile

JBL Control Series 5's are actually designed for mobile mixing and stuff.
A lot of good reviews.

A pawn shop here has some for $250, strange shape.

Those JBL Control 5's are a good suggestion. They are certainly tough, and you see them all the time in live venue type situations. Not the greatest sounding monitors as far as comparing to "real" studio monitors, but plenty good enough for what you'll be using them for.

Would a cheaper option (used monitors from e-bay), be better?
I will look at that JBL and see what they look like.

Are the Yamaha MSP3 any good (for what I'm trying to do - mobile recording).
These speakers will be in some hot-dry weather, or cold-dry weather for a while, and would probably be shipped back and forth.

FYI. Those little Yamahas received top honors, and one of the biggest surprises, in Future Music mag's recent monitor shoot-out. No one could believe how much bigger they sounded, with good accuracy and flat response. I've seen them and they're very small with what looks like a tough build.
