Monitor position2

I reviewed some old threads looking for my answer but didn't see it so please excuse this total Newbie question:

I need to purchase some Monitors in the near future...my workstation space is limited. If I mount monitors on my wall, how far away from them should I be working?

I noticed threads talking about monitors having different settings for such, so perhaps it doesn't even matter. But I know very little about monitors at this point so perhaps someone can clear this up.

My monitors actually came with a very helpful diagram on set up for optimal use. (tannoy reveals). I would suggest Forming an equilateral triangle with the three points. The two monitors at the base and .... well basically your head at the top. Thats how I have mine set up and it works for me. good luck!
