modern version of kinks all day

Ok this song started with the original kinks song stuck in my head. how I don't know I don't listen to songs of that time frame but I do like em. Trying to un-stick it from my brain I began to mess around with the song. A few days into this "messing around" I liked my outcome.
Now What do you guys think? this is still the rough draft version. All I'm really looking for is a thumbs up or thumbs down, a this is interesting continue working on it or ouch this hurts my brain please stop.
Oh and you will have to sing along with the track I can't sing not even in the shower.

It's a little too Art of Noise without the bang.
I like the ahweee synth. The riff synth is too guitar to work & also too AoN!
Nice choice of song & the arrangement is fine - try a different patch & get a vocal on it.
 
chandlerhimself -- thanks for the input

rayc -- I think if I ever played this version live I would use real guitar for the main riff for the familiar sound and feel of the original. Today I had some ideas how to add vocals even for the vocally challenged like me but before I spend time on that I need to tighten up a few timing issues in a couple of spots.

Unless anyone else is interested in sing this track
