I have a mixwizard 16:2 DX that needs repair. $300 shipped U.S.. I was going to get it fixed myself, but I have another mixer and the nearest service center is 45 miles away (I'm lazy ).
The mixer passes signal just fine, but it has a ground hum on every output. I opened it up and discovered that the previous owner had unsuccessfully attempted to replace an electrolytic capacitor. I discovered a disconnected lead as well. I put electrical tape on the disconnected lead for safety, and shut the mixer back up.
I was just going to sell this as soon as I fixed it, so fixing it seems like a waste of my time. If you are electronics savvy, this is probably a sweet deal. Otherwise, you can check the Allen and Heath website to see if there is a service center near by.
Some of the finish on the mixer appears to be a little faded, but overall its in good cosmetic condition. Has all knob and fader caps except for the headphone knob. Of course, the pot works fine.
I am on the good guys list.
