just a question see if anyone has any experience i play mostly acoustic and mix in a cajon and vocals. when recording the cajon im using 2 mics a SM58 in the hole and a apex 235 on the front. i have 2 ways i could do this run each mic to a seperate channael on my tascam dp01fx or run through my peavey mixer to eq before recording then into one channel of the dp01fx. which way would you suggest

A few times, it was 'acoustic vocals bass -sparse. We miced to get the slap and bottom from both sides as well but not in the hole. (then once opon a time' is worth about squat so- enough of that 
But you're asking about routing too. What do you see as the difference? Umm not knowing your situation, intent, what have you.. That second opt is that for eq you need and the only way to get it for example ..?
