Ok, i have yet another question, my mixer, a fostex 1840, has both tape out and directo outs on each channel, both rca type. Which out should i use to go to my ADAT machine? Also i know that on my old mixer i would use the "insert" to send to ADAT but it was TRS and i could only plug in to the first click so i could still hear the channel, if i plugged in all the way, it cut the sound. So what will the RCA cble do when i plug it in?
