I just finished purchasing almost all the equipment I need to mix my first
album.(i mixed other people albums but they have all been ITB up till now)
I am going OTB into outboard via patchbay then to my folcrom, then
to my pre, then back into a rosetta 200. I was seriously considering buying
a stereo comp like a roll 755, portico 5043, or a C2 but all the additional
wiring and my switchcraft patchbay cost almost 2000. So these are my
options wait another 3-4 months and purchase a stereo comp and attach that
baby on the mix, then take to a very qualified mastering engineer or mix now
to the best of my ability and save myself money for album no.2 and then
take to a very qualified engineer
