Missing MIDI port on my motherboard !!

I have an Asus Nforce motherboard, which I bought to replace an older one that got fried by freak fan failure. The old one had a fully working midi port, worked with all my software straight out of the box.

The new one (same board except mini ATX) only seems to have a Midi out driver. Under Midi In it says 'not connected' in Nuendo's device manager.:confused:

This is very annoying as I might have to now buy a usb midi interface as well :mad: :mad: :mad:

Any ideas? Have I missed some setting or other (please say yes).

Have you checked in the BIOS setup to activate it ? What about the driver ? If it's exactly same type of MoBo, then it should work.
