So Ive recorded my new album. Ive mixed it from my VX1680 down to a minidisc. I want it on CD, how am I to do that??

I have a CD writer in my PC, if that helps.

hmm - spent many a wastefull youth where you are.
ok. connect a stereo line out into stereo line in on pc.
(hopefully you have a decent sound card)
download the original cool edit 96 (google for it).
record the song(s) using cool. (which also has some mastering features if you know how to use NR, eq, and filtering..experiment !!).
then save as a stereo wave file.
hitsquad.com has a list of cd burning software if you dont have nero.
also if you want to put your songs up on your own song site as mp3's...
get from hitsquad the lame mp3 encoder. just drag your stereo master
saved by cool edit over it and it creates an mp3.
search under my name for lots of other tips posted in past year.
peace.

mp3,lame encoder and nero.

Do i need lame at all and what is the advantage as I have nero which encodes to mp3 nicely.
I also use minidisc a lot and dowload its contents int the puter for cd burning as suggested and it works fine using nero wave editor.

if nero works fine for you then use nero.
there are scads of programs for CD's , mp3, etc etc at hitsquad.com
cool edit has a number of features i have not seen in nero.
but i only have the free nero that came with my burner.
maybe YOUR nero is the fancier edition. but i found the wave editor in my version a tad limiting.
also check out goldwave.com as well
