Here are my quick home studio specs, I'm currently not using a pc based daw, plan to maybe add one in the future but right now, the hardware stuff works best for me.
2 tascam DA-38 8 track recorders
Tascam TMD 1000 16 channel mixer.
A zoom Mrs 1044 Ten track recorder
I also like to use a tascam 424 III as a audio sketch pad.
I also have two midi sport 8 by 8 interfaces one conected to the zoom recorder.
My question is when getting a hardware sequencer how do I setup it up, does it normally connect to the mixer or do I connect to one of the two patchbays ? also for my monitors I have a pair of M-Audio Studio4 Pros.
