'ere mate
I have an Oxygen 8 controlling my Roland XV-5050 synth which then in turn is connected via usb into the pc. I have installed the drivers no problems and it shows in the list in Fl studio under "generic controller" followed by active. But I have nothing from the Midi activity light.
I am doing it this way as I cant get the Oxygen 8 controlling Fl on its own!

Any pointers would be awesome :)
 
Daisy-chaining MIDI devices isn't entirely reliable.

Better to have a seperate port for each MIDI device, like a MIDIsport 2x2 or 4x4 or similar.

You might have some better results with a MIDI utility such as MIDI-OX.
