MIDI filters

First time here chaps so be kind. I also know Jack S about Cakewalk! What I would like to know is if there is a 'filter' setting that can turn off Pitch Bend on an external controller?

Son's EVO controller in France has a dodgy PB pot and he has to jam it to stop random 'wows'. Years ago we used Cubase and I found such a filter that could stop the problem.

I don't know about the new Cakewalk but the old one it was; Preferences->Midi->Playback and Recording->Uncheck pitchbend..
