midi file drum mapping

I've created a simple midi drum track in sonar. However, when I import it into Nuendo, the note assignments dont' match. IE in sonar, the snare drum is E2 or something, but Nuendo wants the snare as D2. Therefore, even though I have data hitting E2, nothing sounds because Nuendo is looking at D2. (GM standard? I don't know) Make sense? Nuendo sucks for midi and there isn't any where to "re-map" it. But if I could re-map it in sonar, that would be great. I did try using the Sonar drum map output function, but I don't think that's where I need to go to solve the problem.

forgot to add the problem is only with the LM9 or LM4. If I use my sblive as the midi output in Nuendo, the track plays fine.
