I like to describe it as filter but it is also known as EQ or WAH WAH (with guitar) I would like to be able to program this effect so I don`t have to tweak in real time which is obviously very tricky and not good.

Ok please can you tell me what that effect is called which takes a sound from a low to a high frequency or visa versa. I called it cut off because the tweaker in the midi effects under track control is called this. I know of a hardware product which does this called a filter. How can you say that EQ , WAH WAH and Filter are completely different? Would you mind expanding a little please?
Cheers
Erm I don`t know - sounds good though. The closest way of describing it is a wah wah effect like on a guitar but is used typically on keyboard sounds or often the whole mix is squashed and spat out again like in contemporary dance music.TelePaul said:You mean an envelope filter??
Yep, your not wrong there. Thanks for the help.
