Mics for Tascam 414mkII

Hi all,
Don't know if this q should be in the mics section or this one. I'm looking for an overhead mic for drums, and the common consensus seems to be a sd condenser. But the Tascam 414 mkII doesn't have phantom power - does that mean I can't use those mics? Or is there a way to use them.

Yes, you can. You need phantom power!
