I'm researching multipair cabling for my studio and getting confused by all the specs concerning OHM ratings. I know some of my mics are rated in the 50 -100 ohm range, and the multipairs are roughly in the same range.
SO, what do these figures actually mean to me in terms of sound and should I even be concerned with these numbers? Is a cable with a lower ohm rating better for LD mics?
I have compared mic cables in the past enough to know that there can be a difference between them, although the specific reasons behind of it all is beyond me at this point...
Any info and recommendations would be appreciated.
