Anybody heard of this b4 and would it be real good recording?

It costs $29600, yes dats the right price.

Question is would it be a 100 times better for recording if you rich enough to afford it??????????

I'm not sure how Datacenter is set up, but I believe by default, NT4 Server is set up so that background apps have priority, so I would assume Datacenter is similar. That is, the app you're working in does not have priority for cpu cycles or memory. Of course, you can adjust all of this, so if you want you can spend $29,600 and get identical performance to Windows 2000.

No.

Not even your typical server administrator would even consider that OS. Unless you have a MASSIVE user base that hits that server, and have double that money to spend on hardware, it would be pointless.

unless you work for a multimillion dollar corporation, or you can get a warez copy... there's no reason for you to consider it. :p

And to answer your question, That OS is not optimized for Audio purpose... not even a little bit.
