Microphone for Recording a Clarinet

I tried searching the forum but nothing popped up.

What would be a decent microphone for recording a Bb clarinet? I'm looking to get one used and my budget is $200.

AKG's manual is a very nice resource. They reccomended two microphones - C480 and C391. Both are condensor cardioid with small diaphrams.

Well, the C-480 costs $800 and the C391 costs $540 - both way out of my price range. I'm sure that they are fine microphones but I can not afford them.

Looking on line I found a similar microphone - the Carvin M90. The specifications seem to be almost identical.

Any thoughts on using the Carvin M-90? What am I missing here - $100 vs $540?
