Microkorg loading files

1st........i'm the drummer so no little about this instrument. :)

What i'm trying to do is find out how to load and save a file
onto our singers microkorg, such as a siren type file, the blast
of a siren before the song start gets me for 1 going, aka
Primal Scream style.

I've downloaded MICROKORG soundeditor and it seems to be
working ok, what's my next step.

Ist....i've found a few siren type files but want to load them on,
what type of files can i load on, mp3, midi, wave?

Just some general help would be appreciated,

You will need a patch file (in midi format) specifically for the Microkorg. Look for Microkorg patches online and upload with any midi tool (the editor should have that function)
 
I own a MK and I've really struggled to find anything useful regarding patches. There are a few listed in the link above and a few more on the two yahoo groups that cover MS and MK, but I would say I have found maybe 30 patches, none of them anything special.

You can load sysex files apparently but I've never been able to figure out how, you cannot do them with the MK editor.
