melodyne anyone hate it?

i am at the crossroads of purchasing antares or melodyne - both about $320 but the antares requires a ilok which i have enjoyed not needing up to this point. Has anyone a reason not to like melodyne that has used it? I have used demos of both and because i cant save i have a hard time understaning using melodyne as a rewire application. i like the idea of having melodyne to do insane pop vocals and harmonies but antares is tried and true and runs inside the PT session.

Auto-Tune and Melodyne will both get the job done well, but I think Melodyne is hands down the better sounding of the two. It is fairly easy to Rewire in once you get the concepts of it. It is also nice to use it as a standalone.
